作为 VETEMENTS 的核心人物，格鲁吉亚设计师 Demna Gvasalia 可谓是在时尚界推动了街头风格的先驱。如今，Demna 正式宣布离开他的品牌 VETEMENTS，并称将 “追求新的冒险”。
“我开始想要创立 VETEMENTS 这个品牌，是因为我对当时的时尚感到厌倦。确实，在 VETEMENTS 出现之后，时尚圈确实发生了很多改变，也为许多人打开了新的大门。所以我觉得已经完成了自己的使命，VETEMENTS 已经是一家成熟的公司了，日后这些创意遗产定会发展成为一个独立的新篇章。“ Demna 在官方声明中如此说道。
Demna 的兄弟 Guram Gvasali（VETEMENTS 联合创始人兼首席执行官）也在声明中提到：“VETEMENTS 一直都是一个创造性集体。我们仍将进一步突破界限，同时尊重品牌的核心与价值，继续维持我们的创造力和才能。过去几年 Demna 所取得的成就是 VETEMENTS 这趟旅程中的关键篇章。我们非常感谢 Demna 为品牌发展所做出的贡献。“
据悉，Demna Gvasalia 将继续担任 Balenciaga 的创意总监，品牌计划于 9 月 29 日在巴黎举办 2020 年春夏大秀。
