Panasonic Lumix GX85 将是 GX 系列全新机型，不过它将是定位于中端产品。采用了像素相对少的 16MP Live MOS 感应器、新的 Venus Engine 处理器，另外还有更强的 5 轴防震功能。其余在 GX 系列中的常规功能还有 4K 摄影、Wi-Fi、8 fps 连拍、3 吋翻转式触控屏等等。GX85 的预计零售价格将在 800 美元左右，并包含 12-32 镜头套装，而以往的 GX7 或 GX8 的售价都在 1000 美元以上。
