近日，Anderson .Paak 和 Bruno Mars 二人宣布将组成全新音乐组合「Silk Sonic」，并在社交媒体上抢先透露他们的出道单曲将在本月 5 日正式推出。与此同时，在预告的宣传图上我们可以看到该个音乐企划「An Evening With Silk Sonic」中，James Brown 的合作者、Parliament Funkadelic 成员 Bootsy Collins 将成为他们的特别嘉宾。
这张专辑将成为 Bruno Mars 继 2016 年发布的《24K Magic》之后的首张全长专辑。在过去五年里，「火星哥」一直保持低调，偶尔出现在像是与 Gucci Mane 及 Kodak Black 的合作曲目《Wake Up In The Sky》，或是 Cardi B 的《Please Me》、Ed Sheeran 和 Chris Stapleton 的《Blow》当中。对于 Anderson .Paak 来说，这一作品将成为 2019 年《Ventura》之后的全新力作。
