2020 年美国制片人工会奖（PGA）获奖名单公布，《1917》赢得最佳影片。《1917》是由美国梦工厂出品的战争片，由萨姆·门德斯执导，乔治·麦凯、迪恩-查尔斯·查普曼领衔主演。该影片全片采用一镜到底的拍摄方式，主要聚焦两名年轻的英国士兵，讲述了一战时期两名英国士兵为了拯救成百上千的生命而冒险穿越敌境传递重要情报的故事。
在过去 29 年内，PGA 评选的最佳影片与奥斯卡最佳影片重合高达 21 次。以此看来，《1917》有极大几率夺下今年奥斯卡的终极大奖。
