11 月的第一天，东海岸传奇说唱组合 Gang Starr 在暌违 16 年之久后发行了全新专辑《One Of The Best Yet》。距离组合成员 Guru 离开人世至今已有 9 年之久，DJ Premier 此次率领 Gang Starr 再度回归不仅是对黄金年代 Hip-Hop 的追根溯源，更是赐予今日说唱音乐圈的一份珍贵礼物。
而近日， DJ Premier 又带来他的另一个惊喜——他亲自参与创意、导演的《Bad Name》MV 正式释出。在《Bad Name》这一歌曲中，Premier 将 Guru 生前的 vocal 拼凑于自己的 beat 之上，歌词则唱道：“Biggie 和 2Pac 若还在世的话／这帮傻 x 不敢如此猖狂／我们都知道游戏规则已经改变／嘻哈的名声已经大不如前……”。除了歌词让人感慨之外，此支 MV 的意义也十分深刻。Premier 不仅自己出镜其中，他还邀请了前橄榄球运动员、互联网喜剧人 Spice Adams，以及 Guru 的儿子 Keith Casim 参演。特别的是，Guru 说唱的部分是由 Keith 出演，可以说是对 Guru 意志的一份传承。
