未播先砍，《权力的游戏》第一部前传被取消

而第二部前传则被续订。

《权力的游戏》正传系列在今年正式迎来了完结，HBO 也有计划推出多个有关的续集剧集。而其中第一部前传已经在 6 月拍摄了试播集，但是选择不继续开发完整剧集，HBO 已经通过邮件通知剧组工作人员和演员取消该计划。这个前传时间设定在数千年前，记录从英雄纪元时期走向黑暗时刻的变化史，将会记录维斯特洛大陆历史的秘密、异鬼的起源、东方大陆的神秘、斯塔克家族的传奇… 演员阵容包括 Naomi Watts、Josh Whitehouse 等等，如此吸引人的故事和阵容，却未播先砍，十分惋惜。据悉该剧在漫长的后期制作和北爱尔兰的片场拍摄时，都出过不少问题。
