2011 年秋天，流行歌手蔡健雅发行了在洛杉矶制作完成的英文专辑《Just Say So》，命中注定般，住在深秋洛杉矶的说唱歌手 Lu1 偶然间听到了专辑中的同名单曲《Just Say So》，Lu1 由此被这首歌吸引，其中蔡健雅用歌声表达的把爱即刻说出来的姿态一下就击中了 Lu1 。在这番影响下，Lu1 对这首歌进行了采样，并在 2012 年将其 demo 分享网络，获得热烈反响。
透过唱片公司，蔡健雅表达了对 Lu1 的肯定，并在去年将尘封多时的原始录音分轨寄给 Lu1 ，使得 Lu1 能真正完整地创作这首歌，并请来爵士吉他演奏家张雄关担当演奏。当初没有下落的结局，在多年后让 Lu1 多了份告别遗憾的云淡风轻。
日前这首由 Lu1 再编的《Just Say So》现已正式上架音乐平台，大家不妨试听一番。同时该单曲作为 Lu1 首张专辑再版计划的新增部分，将收录于 4 月 9 日发行的《男孩》升级再版《男孩，划破（a portrait in time & rifts)》中。
