在早先举行的 E3 发布会上，Microsoft 公布了最新的 Xbox One S 主机以及精简版手柄，同时公布了一项可自定义色彩 Xbox One 手柄的服务：Xbox Design Lab。该服务可允许用户自定义多种颜色搭配的新手柄，不仅是手柄底色可制定，按键颜色也可以自定义搭配，总共有 800 万种颜色组合可供玩家自行选择。现在，该 Xbox Design Lab 定制服务网站已经于美国正式上线并接受预订，包含定制服务费用后的手柄售价为 79.99 美元，另外 Xbox Design Lab 还支持镭射刻字服务 （加收 9.99 美元服务费）。目前接受预定的定制新手柄最快将于 9 月份出货。
可支持自定义色彩的部件包括：
