此次 VALENTINO 2023 秋冬成衣系列，创意总监 Pierpaolo Picciolii 受到其 15 岁的女儿拿走他西装并外出和朋友玩耍的行为启发，他意识到孩子们不受正式着装的社会制约，他们穿着服饰仅出自喜欢与个人选择，在这一理念的启发下，「黑色领带」系列登场了。
制服着装规范的多样性为此季主题，正如 Yves Saint Laurent 在 1960 年代凭借「吸烟装」先打破了男女装的界限，Piccioli 在主题上添加了许多曲折，不仅比例上，像是迷你连身裙、半身裙、短裤和连身裤，还有除黑白色外，点缀着强烈的 VALENTINO 红。Piccioli 对 VALENTINO 在某种意义上具有破坏性的现代化改造，他所使用的丰富工艺、面料和饰物对品牌来说是完全真实的；在黑白色领带的带领下，精致的褶边衬衫、鸵鸟羽毛、亮片迷你裙、立体玫瑰和完全由红色领结格子制成的连衣裙，在这个系列中十分瞩目。此外一件长款、未装饰的真丝衬衫式连衣裙，在臀部向一侧垂坠，比任何东西都更能概括新的 VALENTINO 精神，它以醒目的红色捕捉了独属于品牌的神秘感。
「我一直在思考 VALENTINO 的意义——它是关于生活方式、完美生活和成功的理念，」Piccioli 说「我想现在我正在做的更多是将其转向社区生活方式，我们的社区是关于一群孩子的社区，可以穿同样的衣服， 但赋予他们个性。」
