CONVERSE 与时尚界标志性人物之一 Rick Owens 展开合作，推出 CONVERSE x DRKSHDW 联名系列。该系列于 Rick Owens 2021 威尼斯丽都秋季大秀上首次亮相，首个合作设计鞋款 TURBODRK Chuck 70 也在其间正式曝光。CONVERSE 经典的帆布鞋与 Rick Owens 的现代极简和当代奢华主义多年来一直都独立存在，却又存在着千丝万缕的关系。Rick Owens 早前在 DRKSHDW SS14 RAMONES 系列中就从CONVERSE Chuck Taylor All Star 鞋款中汲取灵感，颠覆性地诠释了这双历史上最早的篮球鞋，用自己独具特色的手法演绎了这一经典鞋型。而也正是由于这种联系，使此次双方的合作出乎意料，却又在情理之中。
对于此次合作，Owens 表示：「每当我想到 CONVERSE, 我都会想到黑白的 Chuck Taylor 帆布鞋，和朋克摇滚一代，这些一直都是我美学体系中的标志性砥柱。穿上 Chuck Taylor 帆布鞋，你便和那些实验摇滚一代站在了一起，这是亚文化群体所具有的一种自信的活力。」
TURBODARK Chuck 70 沿袭了 Owens 重塑文化符号的一贯做法 —— 弯曲和重构了鞋身，延长了鞋舌并将鞋头磨平。这是 CONVERSE 在其百年历史上首次以这种方式呈现。后续发售详情，敬请关注品牌官方微博、微信号及小程序。
