Virgil Abloh x 美泰推出《宇宙大师》玩具系列

为美泰虚拟角色重新赋予人物语境。

因喜欢美泰（Mattel Creations）旗下的虚构角色，Virgil Abloh 早在 2021 年与该玩具公司形成合作关系，其中包括 Off-White™「PAPERWORK」系列包装内的玩具也是出自美泰公司。

日前美泰释出与 Virgil 合作的玩具系列「Master of the Universe c/o Virgil Abloh™ “TOY”」，由 Virgil 及其创意团队 Alaska Alaska 打造而成，后者表示「设计方面旨在保留现有的图像，使用色彩理论作为进入新奇事物的切入点，以及收藏家的文化，在艺术收藏家和漫画书收藏家之间建立平行关系。」

该合作项目包括 He-Man、Skeletor、Battle Cat 和 SkeleGod 被涂上深浅不一的米色，并以「WOMAN」、「HER」、「WAR」等名字为《宇宙大师》角色重新赋予人物语境。该系列将在 10 月 21 日于 Mattel Creations 官网发售。
