Apple TV+ 剧集《早间新闻》第二季发布先导预告，将于 9 月 17 日正式开播。本剧由詹妮弗·安妮斯顿、瑞茜·威瑟斯彭、史蒂夫·卡瑞尔、比利·克鲁德普等人主演，故事的灵感来自新闻工作者布莱恩·施泰尔特所写的书籍《Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV》。

此次《早间新闻》第二季将延续第一季的故事，在「我们不接受沉默文化」的公开声明被紧急掐断后，Alex Levy（安妮斯顿饰）退出了《早间新闻》节目组，但 Cory Ellison（比利·克鲁德普饰）准备请她回归，然而这将会让 Bradley Jackson（瑞茜·威瑟斯彭饰）陷入尴尬的境地……

2017 年 11 月，苹果公司宣布直接预定《早间新闻》两季内容，每季各为 10 集。第一季已经于 2019 年 11 月 1 日在 Apple TV+ 首播。
